Biography - Mark Iandolo

I am writer and travel photographer who seeks to inspire wanderlust and showcase the world’s beauty through multimedia storytelling.

In 2015, I created Mapping Wanderlust, an ongoing project that documents the natural and manmade splendor of this Earth. The objective of Mapping Wanderlust is to develop an archive of global wonders—including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, stunning landscapes, iconic landmarks, historic towns, modern cities, and roads less traveled.

My works have been published by the Huffington Post, San Diego Times, and Passion Passport. My stories and photographs have captured millions of viewers around the world on social media, and have garnered recognition from such enterprises as Fujifilm, Fodor's Travel, The Nature Conservancy, and Beautiful Destinations. This year, three of my photographs were chosen for The Nature Conservancy's Top 100 Nature Photos of 2017.
